4022 Spruce Street. I rebuilt the left side of this porch: the column against the wall, the beams, brackets, and rails in the summer of 2009.

I made this marking gauge from an article in Fine Woodworking. It's oak with a maple wedge to hold the blade in place. The blade is an old jigsaw blade ground to a point. It's come in pretty handy and more importantly it was cheap.

Shelves for an odd space in a kitchen.
The sides and back are salvaged maple tongue and groove floorboards. The face is oak floorboard cut-offs. The shelves are white pine.
